Capsule Cart on hold


Hello.
This update is to announce that I am putting the Capsule Cart project on hold as I have started working on some other projects that have more visible horizons and I am very motivated to focus on those.

The progress I was able to make on this cart racer was swift but I believe it was good practice to get further into the swing of the Godot Engine in time for Game Jam season.

What I think went right:

As you can partially tell in the attached video, I was able to replicate the same feeling of driving that I had in my head. I was able to come up with elegant solutions to the features that I set to implement as well as some problems that came up between versions. Vector math is definitely my friend.

What I think went wrong:

I feel as though I did not take advantage of many of Godot's and project organization features and GDscript's node referencing. Taking more time to understand and utilized these tools effectively can make my project easier to navigate if I have to leave it for longer periods of time.

There still appears to be some issues with the html export that I don't quite understand yet. The problems have even shown up in my copy of the executable and even in the Godot editor as well. This is strange because those both worked before I exported the html so when I get back to this I will have to do some solid debugging.
