CapsulKart (System Test)
The Project is not converting properly to HTML so, until I can get that fixed, I am providing an executable download for the current build until I can make a fully functioning build work in HTML.
Controls:
Controller:
Right face = Gas, Down face = Break/Reverse, Right Trigger = Hop, Up face = Flip Camera, Left Joystick = Steering, Select = Reset.
Keyboard:
Z = Gas, X = Break/Reverse, C = Hop, D = Flip Camera, Left/Right Arrows = Steering, R = Reset.
Features:
Drift by hopping than steer in a direction when you land. Soon, blue sparks will fly from the wheels and when you let go of the hop button, you will get a speed boost.
Features to Add:
Donuts, Original characters, karts, and tracks models.
This Project is being made in Godot.
Description:
The feeling of this kart racer prototype is heavily inspired by the feel of Mario Kart DS, one of my favorites in the genre. I feel like I captured a similar feel in this prototype aside from a major difference of an added consistent turning radius using some simple angular kinematics.
Feel free to leave your thoughts about whether you like how the standard driving feels and Check out the Devlogs which I am starting to post a little too frequently now.

Forgot to mention in the First devlog that I changed the engine sound because my friend said the original sounds like "robot farts".
Also During testing in Godot, both controller and keyboard inputs for hopping worked but on the web page, at least for me, the controller input for just hopping doesn't work. Let me know if anyone else has this problem.
